Questions

  • Yes, but it goes beyond the typical hackathon concept which you might be used to. GRAVITY Challenge is a six-month program featuring four phases including Recruit, Innovate, Collaborate and Scale. GRAVITY brings together market demand and innovators to create new and viable offerings, leveraging space data.

  • Once the expression of interest process is finalised, the GRAVITY Challenge runs for about 6 months end-to-end. Successful teams will move through all 4 phases of the program (Recruit, Innovate, Collaborate and Scale). The Scale Phase begins once winning teams are named and is where commercial conversations with the intent to implement solutions / pilots will occur.

  • You do! Innovators retain full ownership of their IP. Upon registering, Innovators will agree to basic Terms & Conditions which state the process around IP ownership. Coaching and mentoring is available to further explore IP ownership and commercialisation. If the teams are comprised of members from multiple companies, sharing separate IPs, team members will have to define IP sharing agreements by themselves.

  • Yes, Deloitte’s GRAVITY Challenge program is a virtual program. All webinars, collaboration and mentoring sessions and documents will be available online via our GRAVITY Challenge Innovator platform. Innovators will need to register and be accepted into the program to access the platform.

If you are having issues logging in, please email enquiries@gravitychallenge.space.
